The other documents attributed to Justin Martyr listed above - the Hortatory Address to the Greeks, On the Sole Government of God, and On the Resurrection - are of dubious authenticity. These are powerful stories with huge characters that offer the reader some kernel of truth. Succubi (1992) is thematically 208 Lee, Tanith related but not quite as tightly written. The opening novel introduces Richard Rahl, who believes himself to be a humble villager but who finds out otherwise when the magical barrier protecting his people from an unspecified evil menace begins to fail. Highly recommended for 6th grade to adult. Westerns have themes of honor, redemption, revenge, and finding one’s identity or place in life. Jill gets them confused, and Eustace is too impatient to listen to her at critical moments.
